Nobody's Hero Chapter 2

“Kmae?” Jon laughed. “You fell asleep.”

I woke up as the waves crashed up beside me. “Are we still on the beach?”

“Yeah,” he laughed. “Don’t worry. I fell asleep too.”

The water crashed onto the shore as Jon kissed me again, rolling ontop of me and letting the waves crash on both sides of us.

“I love you,” I whispered.

“I love you more,” he whispered back.







And then, love was made.









The next morning, I was woken up by the sound of thunder crashing outside, and Jon curled up next to me in the beach house, with his arms wrapped around me. Being in New Jersey was fun, especially now that I had met Jon a few days ago, as I moved to New Jersey. Now That I was here, he was my everything.

I looked at him, and traced the heart, that I wrote on his hand with a Sharpie, and watched him smile like it tickled him.

He was the cutest sleeper ever, as he smiled when he slept. He slept there with a smile on his face like he didn’t have a care in the world.

But there was one problem.



Richie liked me.

He wanted me.

He needed me.

And I couldn’t help but think of how I’d get out of this one.

Nobody's Hero Chapter 1

"Jon!" I laughed, as he pushed me into the white sand. "You're such a dork!"

"Hey," he laughed, as he helped me up, "you wanted to go to the beach! So, I'm supposed to be mean to you!"

I smiled. "You're such a cutie."

"I'm with a perfect girl. How am I cute?"

I shook my head. "Perfect? Oh please."

He smiled. "I'm on a perfect beach, a perfect day, and I'm with a perfect girl. If that's not perfect I don't know what is."

"You," I smiled. "You're perfect."

"Close your eyes."

I made a look at him. "What?"

"Close your eyes," he repeated.

I did as he commanded, closing my eyes.

I could feel his lips at my ear. "What do you see?"

"Um..Nothing?"

"That's what I'd be without you," his lips whispered into my ears.

I couldn't talk. That was the cutest thing he had ever said to me.

"Don't open your eyes yet," he smiled.

"I won't."

I felt him wrap his arms tightly around me, before I could feel his lips move onto mine, as we stood kissing under the falling sun.

"Kmae?" he said, as he moved his lips from mine, and I opened my eyes. "Do you love me?"

"How couldn't I?" I said. "You're everything I've ever wanted!"

"You'll stay here with me forever, right?" He said, as he looked at me like an innocent child.

I put a single finger to his lips. "I'll stay here with you until eternity if I have to. But, don't worry about that right now. What you have to worry about now is how much I'd like to kiss you. Alright? You better not leave me hanging here."

He smiled and laughed as he kissed me, and we both fell into eachother's arms, under the sun.

Prologue:

Kmae Bruce's story starts out in New Jersey, where she meets Jon Bon Jovi, her newest love of her life. The story starts in 1983, during the "Runaway" era. Jon's new band, Bon Jovi, is just starting out, and she's learning the hard way on how the band's success might tear her and Jon's love apart, as he's on the road every day, and is basically surrounded in women. Will he leave Kmae for success? Or will their love overcome everything?


That's not the only problem. Jon's best friend, and lead guitarist, Richie Sambora,  has a thing for Kmae, and she doesn't want anything to do with him. She wants Jon and only Jon. Jon starts getting mad at Richie for his love for Kmae, and soon their friendship is questionable. Will Jon protect Kmae from Richie? Or will he lose his friendship?
